About the Triad Indie Film Network (TIFN)

The Triad Indie Film Network (TIFN) is an organisation of anyone and everyone that is interested in creating or just enjoying locally produced short and feature-length films, whether they be narrative fiction, documentary, animation, or some clever combination thereof.

TIFN is based out of the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, which encompasses Greensboro, High Point, Winston-Salem and the surrounding communities. We have a brand new home at the Greensboro School of Creativity, along with a along with a new committee of officers, and a renewed sense to promote the cinematic efforts of Triad filmmakers.

TIFN Screening RoomWe have regular screenings each month at the TIFN Headquarters, in our brand new HiDef screening room that comes equipped with a 120" screen and 5.1 Surround Sound system. We also have a 1000-square-foot studio space and shooting stage, all located mere minutes from downtown Greensboro, and all readily for TIFN members and supporters. We will soon be offering directing, acting & screenwriting groups, as well other types of networking meetings. Most importantly the Triad Indie Film Network strives to create a supportive community of fellow filmmakers, as well as film-lovers.

  TIFN Meetings  

The Triad Indie Film Network holds its biweekly officer meetings at the Greensboro School of Creativity on every other Tuesday at 12:00 Noon. The meetings take place in the Film Room which is on the second floor (take the elevator, follow the signs).

If you are interested at any level (just being a member, teaching a class, using the film room or studio space or serving as a volunteer, please feel free to attend. For more information on meetings and/or membership please contact TIFN.

When: Tuesday, January 3rd, 7pm - ???
Where: The Greensboro School of Creativity
Join us on the first Tuesday of every month, in the Film Room of the GSO School of Creativity, for the brand new TIFN Meetings. The meetings will be an hour-long, consisting of 15 minutes of "business," 15 minutes of "networking," followed by 30 minutes of miscellaneous movie matters (short film screenings, speakers, presentations, etc.).

Start the New Year with a Bang!

Blake Faucette and members of the of the Beat Down Boogie team will show part of their runaway internet hit "Metal War Gear Solid" and some of their other videos. They caught internet fire with their mashup/parody of two popular video game franchises, and have parlayed that into a huge following and new videos every few weeks. Their highly-anticipated upcoming series will feature the Mario Brothers.
